TCNOGA Sports Gala 2025 Launched to Raise Funds for Junior School

The Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls Association (TCNOGA) has launched the third edition of its annual sports gala, aiming to raise funds for the establishment of a sister junior school.

The launch was held today at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT), attracting old girls, partner schools, and well-wishers.

Speaking at the event, TCNOGA President Mrs. Marie Solome Nassiwa Lubowa emphasized the significance of this year’s edition.

“With this gala, our goal is to raise at least 200 million shillings to begin construction of the junior school. We are determined to make this dream a reality, and we invite everyone to come out and support us,” she said.

The Communications Manager, Mrs. Harriet Adong Atuyambe, called for unity and participation.

“We have come a long way, but there is still much to be done. We are urging all members, friends of Trinity, and the wider community to be part of this year’s gala. Every effort counts,” she noted.

Over the years, the TCNOGA Sports Gala has grown into a major annual event, bringing together alumni and partner schools for a day of sports, networking, and fundraising.

This year’s edition will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the UICT grounds, with NBS Sport on board as a broadcast and promotional partner.

Participants will compete in a range of sports disciplines while supporting the shared vision of expanding Trinity College Nabbingo’s legacy through the creation of a junior school.

“This is not just about sports; it’s about giving back, creating opportunities, and investing in the future,” Mrs. Adong Atuyambe added.
