Chelsea are set to recall striker Marc Guiu from his loan at Sunderland.
The decision comes after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury and with uncertainty surrounding the future of Nicolas Jackson, whose agent has publicly stated he will not be returning to the club.
Chelsea had a deal in place to loan Jackson to Bayern Munich but pulled out following Delap’s injury.
The club is also working to offload players like Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell before the transfer window closes.
