Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has joined Bayern Munich in a deal that could be worth up to £70.5 million.
The 24-year-old moves on an initial loan for the 2025-26 season, with an obligation for Bayern to make the transfer permanent for £56.2 million if he makes a set number of appearances.
Jackson’s departure follows a season marked by disciplinary issues, including two red cards, which reportedly led to a breakdown in trust with manager Enzo Maresca and the club’s leadership.
The Senegalese forward, who joined Chelsea for £32 million in 2023, is excited about the move, stating, “I’m really happy to now be part of this great club.”
He could potentially face his former team as soon as September 17 in a Champions League match in Munich.
