The Uganda U-20 women’s national team will go into Friday’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Namibia with a clean bill of health and a full squad.
Assistant coach Charles Ayiekoh Lukula confirmed that every player in camp is fit and ready for the first leg at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba. The return leg will also be played at the same venue next Monday.
Ayiekoh added that Kampala Queens duo Muduwa Peace and Najjuma Shamusa will join the squad after featuring earlier today in their club’s 1-0 win over Kenya Police Bullets in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers third-place playoff.
With home advantage and a fully fit team, the Queen Cranes U-20 are aiming to launch their qualification bid on a strong note.
