AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has set his sights on the Coppa Italia, calling it the team’s main objective for the season.
Ahead of the cup match against Lecce, Allegri also expressed his confidence in forward Santiago Gimenez, who has struggled to score since his arrival.
“He’s put in good performances and he’s had chances,” the coach stated, adding that he is also pleased with new signing Samuele Ricci.
Allegri called on fans to support the team through the “long season.”
