After sealing a summer switch from French outfit Girondins Bordeaux to CS Sfaxien, the young creator has settled in fairly well. He has chipped in with one goal and four assists across 14 games for the Tunisian side.

Although CS Sfaxien has not publicly confirmed Mutyaba’s contract numbers, unconfirmed sources reveal that he pockets a gross monthly salary of €7,000. This amounts to roughly €84,000 per year on a three-year deal.

The club’s overall expenditure on the Ugandan youngster is expected to hit about €252,000 over the duration of the contract.

Career

Travis Mutyaba is a Ugandan attacking midfielder who plies his trade with Tunisian club CS Sfaxien. Earlier in his career, he featured for SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League and spent time with Vipers SC’s youth setup.

He made the move to CS Sfaxien in August 2025 as a free agent after leaving French side Girondins Bordeaux, having previously signed for Egyptian giants Zamalek.
