The Premier League has rescheduled two December fixtures involving Arsenal and Crystal Palace to provide both clubs with an extra day of rest before their EFL Cup quarter-final on 23 December.
Original Date: Sunday, 21 December (14:00 GMT)
New Date/Time: Saturday, 20 December (20:00 GMT)
The moved matches are:
Arsenal’s away game against Everton.
Crystal Palace’s away game against Leeds.
The EFL Cup quarter-final had already been moved from 16 December to avoid Palace playing three times in five days, a scenario complicated by their European Conference League participation.
Palace will still play twice in three days, following their Conference League tie on 18 December.
Arsenal rejected the possibility of playing the EFL Cup tie on Christmas Eve due to fan and staff concerns and will offer subsidised coaches (£10) for the trip to Everton.
