Conor Benn decisively defeated Chris Eubank Jr by unanimous decision on Saturday night, bringing the historic Benn-Eubank family rivalry to a close and avenging his father Nigel Benn’s defeats.
Eubank Jr, who won the previous encounter, appeared a shadow of himself, struggling with Benn’s speed and aggression.
He admitted post-fight to going “through hell and back” leading up to the bout but declined to elaborate on the personal issues.
When asked about retirement following the comprehensive defeat, Eubank Jr refused to rule it out, stating, “We’re not talking about that right now.”
Victorious Benn declared the four-part saga “Done, finished, it’s over,” celebrating the end of the generational boxing feud.
