France captain and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe is seeking 263 million euros (£231.5m) from his former club, Paris St-Germain (PSG), over unpaid wages and alleged mistreatment.
The bitter contractual dispute reached a Paris labour court on Monday, 17 November 2025, where PSG responded with a counter-claim, demanding 240 million euros (£211m) from the 26-year-old.
Mbappe’s claim includes 55 million euros (£46.3m) in unpaid wages and damages related to the club’s alleged actions after he refused a 2023 transfer to Al-Hilal and declined a contract extension. He claims he was “sidelined” as a result.
PSG seek compensation for the failed Al-Hilal transfer, accusing Mbappe of “disloyalty” by concealing his decision not to extend his contract for nearly a year. PSG rejects any claim of “harassment or pressure.”
The court is not expected to deliver a verdict for several weeks.
