Northern Ireland face the toughest possible draw, traveling to meet four-time World Cup winners Italy in their semi-final. If they win, they must then play the final away against either Wales or Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Republic of Ireland will travel to the Czech Republic.
The semi-finals are scheduled for March 26, 2026, with the finals following on March 31.
Sixteen teams are competing for four World Cup spots. The full tournament draw will take place on December 5 in Washington DC.
