Kawempe Muslim extended their strong start to the season by sweeping the November Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League monthly awards, with head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi named Coach of the Month and captain Agnes Nabukenya taking the Player of the Month prize.
Kiyingi earned the honour for the second time this season after guiding Kawempe to four straight wins in November.
The run kept his side unbeaten and firmly in control at the top of the table on 25 points. She Corporate follow on 20.
Nabukenya’s role in that momentum was central. The midfielder scored two key goals, picked up two Woman of the Match awards, and continued to anchor Kawempe’s performances from midfield.
Her influence has made her one of the league’s standout players, and she also collected trophies as MVP and top scorer for the month.
During the handover, Finance Trust Bank Chief Operations Officer Sarah Gwokyalya said the institution wants to see domestic award winners grow into international-level talent.
She noted that the bank remains committed to elevating women’s football and helping players access opportunities abroad.
