The 2025 Proline Soccer Academy Residential Camp has concluded at Hormisdallen School in Gayaza, with more than 100 young players completing an intensive week focused on preparing them for the demands of modern football.
Organisers say the camp was designed to equip participants with both technical ability and the mindset required to succeed on and off the pitch.
Held under the theme “Improving Players’ Performance On and Off the Field,” the program combined elite football coaching with life skills training aimed at shaping well rounded players ready for competitive environments.
Proline Soccer Academy director Mujib Kasule said social adaptation remains one of the biggest challenges for young players who earn opportunities with professional clubs abroad.
“Our goal is to produce players who can fit in anywhere on the field and in life, Many players struggle with socialising and adjusting to new environments when they move abroad, and this is what we want to eliminate as we prepare future football stars.” Kasule said.
Parents also highlighted the short term impact of the camp on their children’s development.
“This one week at the camp has helped my daughter learn how to pass the ball, Watching her play melted my heart with joy.” said Kisitu Gerald, a parent.
Following the conclusion of the camp, Proline Soccer Academy has shifted focus to preparations for the upcoming Manchester City Tournament in Abu Dhabi, scheduled for the 8th of next month.
The academy is set to compete in three age categories.
Kasule reiterated the academy’s commitment to holistic development, noting that Proline will continue investing in programs aimed at producing players capable of thriving on the global stage.
