Spurs Close Gap on Thunder with 10th Straight Win

The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to 10 games—their longest since 2015—with a narrow 110-107 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

Devin Vassell scored 21 points, while Victor Wembanyama provided a game-saving block in the final minute to seal the win.

The Spurs (42-16) moved closer to the Western Conference lead after the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder (45-15) fell 124-116 to the Detroit Pistons.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed his ninth straight game for the Thunder, while Detroit’s Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren each dropped 29 points to give the Pistons the NBA’s best overall record.

Elsewhere, the Denver Nuggets dismantled the Boston Celtics 103-84 behind 30 points from Nikola Jokic, and the Milwaukee Bucks edged the Cleveland Cavaliers 118-116 despite playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo.
