World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz is shifting focus to the clay court season after a third-round loss to American Sebastian Korda at the Miami Open.
The 22-year-old Spaniard, who started 2026 with a 16-match winning streak and an Australian Open title, said he’ll take a few days off before preparing for clay.
“My mind right now is to reset the batteries and be ready,” he noted.
Despite the setback, Alcaraz remains upbeat, pointing to progress in his game.
“Besides the loss today, I think I’m still on the right way,” he said.
