Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann says he will rest several players for Monday’s friendly against Ghana after their draining 4-3 win over Switzerland.
Stuttgart’s Alexander Nuebel will start in goal, while forward Deniz Undav is guaranteed minutes.
“We have to rotate more to keep players fit for the season and the World Cup,” Nagelsmann noted.
The Ghana clash is Germany’s final warm-up before Nagelsmann names his World Cup squad in May. Germany open Group E against Curacao on June 14 in Houston, followed by Ivory Coast in Toronto and Ecuador in New York.
Ghana prepare for a tougher Group L featuring Croatia, England and Panama.
