Uganda will host the Easter Women’s T20 Cup from April 7 to 16, 2026, at Entebbe Cricket Oval, bringing together Victoria Pearls, Nepal Women and USA Women, alongside an Uganda A side in a developmental series.
The tournament, organised by Cricket Uganda, will be played as non-T20 International matches and will not count towards ICC rankings.
It is structured to give teams competitive game time, with Nepal and USA using the tour as preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s Challenge Trophy in Rwanda scheduled from April 12 to May 2.
Uganda will field two teams, with the senior Victoria Pearls side aiming to build momentum, while Uganda A Women are expected to gain exposure against international opposition. The four-team round-robin format will see matches played twice daily across six match days, with a rest day on April 12.
Cricket Uganda Head of High Performance and Pathways Richard Okia said the series offers a key testing platform.
“These Easter Women’s T20 matches against USA and Nepal are a perfect stage to test our teams at a high level,” Okia said.
“For the Victoria Pearls, it’s about sharpening our edge and building winning momentum, while Uganda A Women gain invaluable exposure to fast-track their growth and confidence on the international stage.”
The competition begins with arrivals on April 7 and a training day on April 8, before match action starts on April 9 with Uganda facing USA and Uganda A taking on Nepal. The schedule includes repeat fixtures across the tournament, concluding on April 15 before team departures on April 16.
