A senior delegation from Confédération Africaine de Football is set to arrive in Kampala on Tuesday ahead of key preparatory meetings with the three host nations of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027.
The two-day engagement, scheduled for 22 to 23 April, will bring together officials from Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania as preparations for the tournament gather pace under the PAMOJA hosting arrangement.
CAF confirmed the meetings will focus on updates across critical delivery areas for the next phase of planning. These include infrastructure development, safety and security, procurement processes, finance, media operations, ticketing and commercial activities.
The delegation will include acting CAF General Secretary Samson Adamu alongside senior officials from various functional departments such as competitions, broadcasting and security. Representatives from the three governments and presidents of their respective football associations are also expected to attend.
CAF described the meeting as a significant step in strengthening coordination between the governing body and the host nations, with emphasis placed on operational readiness and structured collaboration. The sessions are intended to align priorities as the region advances towards delivering the 2027 finals.
Media access has been scheduled through a mixed zone on both meeting days, with further details expected to be communicated by CAF.
