Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has expressed confidence in the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) Engineering Brigade and the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), saying their proven track record in delivering major infrastructure projects has earned them the government’s trust to undertake key projects ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Speaking at the launch of the Masindi Municipal Council AFCON training facility project and the construction of Masindi Hospital, Nabbanja said the two entities have consistently demonstrated professionalism and the capacity to execute strategic national projects.
