The grand finale of the Nile Special National Pool Open Championship has been postponed.
Initially slated for November 16 at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium, the much-anticipated event will have a new date announced early next week.
In a communication shared today evening, the Pool Assiociation of Uganda didn’t disclose the reason for the delay but apologized for any inconvenience caused to players, fans, and stakeholders.
Uganda’s top pool players, including last year’s men’s champion Ceasar Chandiga and standout female players Rukia Naiga and Rashida Mutesi, have already earned their spots for the final showdown.
The championship, renowned for its competitive spirit and substantial rewards, will see the men’s and women’s champions awarded cash prizes and brand-new cars.
The Nile Special National Pool Open, a highlight in Uganda’s sports calendar, brings together top talent from nationwide qualifiers held across 68 venues.
