After a loss to Tanzania on Monday during their third match at the East Africa Trophy T20 Cup, the Cricket Cranes bounced back to the winning column on Tuesday. Laurance Mahatlane’s squad secured their third victory in the tournament, defeating Rwanda by a margin of 61 runs.
Having posted a total of 186/10 during their innings, Alpesh Ramjani took the lead in defending this score for the Cricket Cranes. This spinner managed to secure four wickets, with most of these breakthroughs occurring towards the latter part of the match.
This win marks Uganda’s third victory in the competition, maintaining their top position on the Gahanga table. The team will enjoy a day off on Wednesday and then return to the field on Thursday, where they will participate in a doubleheader.
