Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim admitted he might need to step aside if the team’s poor league form continues into next season.
This follows a 2-0 home loss to West Ham, their seventh Premier League game without a win – their worst run since 1992.
United have suffered a record number of league defeats this season and sit 16th in the table. Amorim expressed his “embarrassment” and stressed the need for significant changes to the club’s culture.
Despite a potential Europa League final against Tottenham offering a Champions League spot, Amorim believes the club’s issues are much deeper, citing a “lack of urgency” and a diminishing “big club mentality.”
He warned that if the current feeling persists, “we should give the space to different people.”
