Muller Bows Out as Bayern Cruise to Victory

Thomas Muller made his final appearance for newly crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich as they comfortably defeated Hoffenheim 4-0.

Michael Olise’s free-kick opened the scoring (33′), followed by goals from Joshua Kimmich (53′), Serge Gnabry (80′), and Harry Kane (86′). Muller, who played for an hour, couldn’t add to his impressive goal tally in his 503rd Bundesliga game.

Eric Dier also played his last match for Bayern ahead of a move to Monaco. Despite the loss, Hoffenheim avoided the relegation play-off.

The day, however, belonged to club legend Muller, who departs after a trophy-laden career.

Bayern finished the season 13 points clear at the top.
