OVER 150 GOLFERS EXPECTED TO GRACE I & M KATOGO INVITATIONAL

I & M Katogo Invitational is set to draw in more than 200 golfers this Saturday, 30th September. The prestigious event,  sponsored by I & M Bank, is scheduled to take place at the picturesque Lakeside Entebbe Club, boasting a challenging par 71 course.

The unique and engaging format of play for the tournament is known as “Me Too.” In this innovative style of play, golfers have the exciting opportunity to swap their less-than-ideal tee shots with those of fellow players in their group on any given hole. However, there is a limitation of using the “Me Too” option on a maximum of nine holes during the round. This format promises to add an intriguing layer of strategy to the competition.

Hannington Mpiima, the Captain of Katogo Club, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are glad to be hosting this invitational, and we are expecting a significant turnout on the day. The ‘Me Too’ format is different, and we anticipate that golfers will thoroughly enjoy this unique style of play.”

There will be a Brand New Renault staked on Hole 10 during the tournament, according to a press statement from the club.

The event is sponsored by I & M Bank, RwanAir, GA Insurance Uganda, Renault Uganda, NBS Sport and Fenon Events.
