Despite losing the final match of the tournament, Uganda’s senior women’s rugby national team, the Lady Rugby Cranes, were in jubilation.
This is because they had finished the tournament in third place, and earned themselves a bronze medal.
During the tournament played at the Stade Makis in Antananarivo, Madagascar from June 7-15, the Lady Rugby Cranes played three matches, lost two and won one.
