Nottingham Forest are considering legal action against Tottenham Hotspur, accusing them of improper conduct in their pursuit of midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Forest are reportedly furious, claiming Tottenham breached a confidentiality agreement related to Gibbs-White’s £60m release clause.
Despite reports of Gibbs-White undergoing a medical, Forest insists they have not given Spurs permission to speak to the player, a violation of Premier League rules.
They are prepared to go to “whatever lengths required to prevent the transfer.”
Gibbs-White joined Forest in 2022 for up to £42.5m and has been a key player.
Tottenham, who recently signed Mohammed Kudus for £55m, remain hopeful of completing the deal despite Forest’s strong objections.
