Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento has been ruled out for six to eight weeks with a knee injury sustained in the defeat against Arsenal.
The injury, while not as severe as his previous ACL tear, is a significant blow for both club and country.
The 22-year-old full-back will miss the upcoming England internationals against Wales, Latvia, Serbia, and Albania.
Livramento has been one of Newcastle’s most consistent players this season, leading the team in minutes played.
Coach Eddie Howe called the loss “a huge blow,” though the club has Dan Burn and Lewis Hall as cover at left-back.
Known for his resilience, Livramento previously bounced back from a major knee injury, a journey reflected in his tattoo: “beauty in the struggle.”
