Zamalek reached the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup final with a 0-0 draw against CR Belouizdad in Cairo, advancing 1-0 on aggregate from their first-leg win in Algiers.
The Egyptian side, contesting their third final and second in three seasons, relied on defensive organisation to frustrate Belouizdad, who managed just one shot on target late in the game.
Nasser Mansi led Zamalek’s attack with six attempts, while Abdallah El-Said’s first-half header was ruled out by VAR. Belouizdad’s late push faltered as Ali Ben Hammouda headed over, sealing Zamalek’s seventh straight semi-final clean sheet.
They now await the winner of Olympique Safi v USM Alger in Sunday’s second semi-final.
