Monday, May 4, 2026, was a day of pure dominance for Jean Sseninde United Sports Club as they dismantled Kibuli Down Town FC in a 5-0 rout.
The Makindye District Football Association (MADFA) 5th Division clash, fuelled by pre-match tension, lived up to the hype for the home side.
The Red Ants didn’t just win; they delivered a statement of intent, proving their tactical discipline is unmatched in the division.
A Legacy Of Excellence
The clinical performance reflects the strong foundation laid by the club’s leadership. Founded by former Crystal Palace Women and Crested Cranes defender Jean Sseninde, the club was established to professionalise the game and provide a platform for local talent.
Tactical Dominance And Clinical Finishing
From the first whistle, Jean Sseninde United seized control of possession. Their fluid midfield repeatedly carved open Kibuli Down Town’s defence, producing a flurry of goals that thrilled the Salaama-based fans.
The scoring was led by three standout performers:
- Eclas Magembe’s Brace: Predatory in attack, Magembe struck twice to shatter the visitors’ confidence early.
- Louis Oniala’s Double: Partnering Magembe up front, Oniala added two more, extinguishing any hope of a comeback.
- Assimwe Grace’s Final Blow: Grace capped the performance with the fifth goal, a reward for tireless transitions and relentless pressure.
Looking Ahead
With a clean sheet and five goals, Jean Sseninde United march forward with momentum. If the Red Ants sustain this synergy, the rest of the 5th Division will struggle to halt their rise.
For Kibuli Down Town, it’s back to the drawing board after a defensive display that failed to contain the pace and precision of the Red Ants.
