Rwandan Premier League side Rwanda Police FC have confirmed the departure of Ugandan midfielder Allan Kateregga following the expiry of his contract.
Kateregga joined Police FC at the start of the 2024/25 season and made an immediate impact, helping the club win the 2024 Rwanda Super Cup. He leaves after just one season in Kigali as the team begins preparations for the new campaign.
The former Uganda international is one of five players released by Police FC. The others include Lague, Chimezie, Msanga, and Kirongozi, all departing at the close of the season.
The decision marks the beginning of a squad overhaul as Police FC look to reinforce ahead of next season.
Kateregga now enters free agency, seeking a fresh challenge after adding another trophy to his career during his stint in Rwanda. His next move remains uncertain, with several clubs expected to track his availability in the ongoing transfer window.
