The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has prolonged provisional suspensions on four football stakeholders for an additional 45 days as investigations into alleged match manipulation continue.
Former Uganda Cranes midfielder Mike Mutyaba, along with Miiro Ashraf, Kalyowa Emmanuel, and Mbazira Ashraf, will remain barred from all football-related activities effective 13 June 2026.
FUFA stated that the extension was issued under Article 78(3) of its Ethics and Disciplinary Code, granting investigators more time to examine suspected match-fixing linked to the Uganda Premier League fixture between Kitara FC and Express FC played on 21 December 2024.
The governing body confirmed that all four individuals have been formally notified and will continue to face restrictions during the extended suspension period.
FUFA reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the integrity of the sport, emphasizing its anti-corruption campaign slogan: “Recognise, Reject & Report.”
