Thomas Tuchel says England will not change their approach despite the World Cup heat, insisting the team must stick to its strengths.
England face Croatia in Dallas on Wednesday, with indoor air‑conditioning easing conditions. “I’m just not ready to adapt into a different style of football because of circumstances we cannot influence,” Tuchel said.
The coach has built his squad around power and intensity, calling up Trevoh Chalobah after Tino Livramento’s injury. Captain Harry Kane is set to equal David Beckham’s 115 caps, arriving in form after 61 goals for Bayern Munich last season.
Croatia will rely on 40‑year‑old Luka Modric, but Tuchel remains firm: “We want to at least try it, our style and our belief.”
