Uganda Rugby Sevens coach Tolbert Onyango has named a 14-man squad for the upcoming Dubai and Cape Town Sevens.
The Dubai Sevens will take place from the 2nd to 3rd of December while the Cape Town Sevens are scheduled for 9th to 11th of the same month th.
National Sevens Circuit champions Jinja Hippos have seen four of their players summoned to the squad.
Denis Etwau, Jacob Ochen, Timothy Mugisha, and Twafik Bagalana are the four summoned from the Hippos team.
Usual suspects Michael Wokorach, Aaron Ofoyrwoth, Adrian Kasito, Ian Munyani, Desire Ayera are also part of the squad.
Pirates flyhalf William Nkore, forward Alex Aturinda and KOBs finisher Karim Arinaitwe complete the squad.
The most notable exclusion is Philip Wokorach who is understood to be heavily engaged with his club in France.
At Dubai Sevens, Uganda is in Pool C alongside France, Ireland, and Spain.
Uganda will take on France in their first game at 9:28am (EAT) on the 2nd of December then battle Ireland at 1:36pm before playing Spain in their last Pool match at 6:07pm.
