Next Media’s Jermaine Egesa to Commentate at The 2022 Championship of African Nations

Jermaine Egesa has been selected as an on-site commentator by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

The official commentator of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League has earned international recognition for his skills as a pundit.

Egesa, now will bring his expertise to the broadcast booth as an on-site commentator based in Constantine, he will be a Lead Commentator for the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) Group C Matches.

For starters, Egesa’s love for commentating was ignited during his University days when he first had the chance to give it a try. It was a moment that would change his life forever. From that day on, he dedicated himself to honing his craft, practicing tirelessly to become the best sports commentator he could be. He has been a regular analyst for several TV and radio stations at Next Media Services, providing expert analysis and commentary on matches.

Egesa’s selection as an on-site commentator for CHAN is a testament to his skills as a pundit and his knowledge of the game. He will be joining a team of experts from across the continent to provide in-depth analysis of the matches and offer unique perspectives on the teams and players competing in the tournament.

“Yes indeed I have been given a commentary role, I will be based in Constantine and I will do all the games in Constantine.” Egesa said.

The city of Constantine will host a total number of 6 matches which mostly comprises of Group C and the third game of Quarter Finals fixtures.

The 2022 CHAN tournament is set to take place in Algeria and will feature 18 teams from across Africa competing for the coveted title. The tournament is a platform for players who play in domestic leagues to showcase their skills.
