KCCA FC yesterday announced on their Twitter page the signing of Hassan Mubiru on a 5-year employment contract from 2023 up to 2028.
The 19-year-old winger made a move from Express FC and is expected to compete for a playing spot in the squad with Kagawa Ssenoga, Julius Poloto, and Rogers Mato, among other players.
Mubiru was in the squad that won the CECAFA U17 Championship with Uganda Cubs in 2019, and he has also been part of the Uganda Hippos side that was summoned in preparation for the AFCON U20 tournament that will be held in Egypt this month, though he didn’t make it to the final squad that travelled.
Hassan Mubiru stated via the club website, “I am delighted to put pen to paper for this great club.” This is one of the biggest clubs in the CECAFA region, and it is every young player’s dream to play for a team like this. “I want to give my all for this club, and I want to win so many titles here.”
