BUL took the lead in the 9th minute after Alex Kitata caught Emojong off his line to score an early goal for the hosts before Etienne Katenga levelled for the visitors five minutes later.
Despite both teams’ efforts to find a winner, the match remained deadlocked at one-all after 90 minutes and extra time.

In the penalty shootout, Ibrahim Kazindula, Ibrahim Mugulusi, Joel Mutakubwa, Ronald Otti, Walter Ochora, and Pascal Ngobi successfully converted their penalties for BUL FC.

For KCCA, Mujuzi Mustafa, Kizza Mustafa, Joel Sserunjogi, Filbert Obenchan, and Emmanuel Loki scored their penalties while Herbert Achai and Peter Magambo missed their spot-kicks ending the shootout at 6-5, with BUL FC advancing to the semifinals.

Meanwhile, in another fixture, lower division side Pajule Lions secured a spot in the semifinals by defeating Pakwach Youngsters with a 1-0 victory.

BUL  and Pajule Lions now join NEC in the semifinals.

Premier League leaders Kitara FC are set to host defending champions Vipers Sports Club at Masindi Stadium on Sunday, April 14th, as the action in the Stanbic Uganda Cup continues.
