KCCA FC and Maroons FC showcased their strength in the Uganda Premier League with impressive victories on Thursday.
Maroons triumphed 3-0 over a 9-man Busoga United, while KCCA FC dominated Mbarara City with a 4-0 win.
Fred Amaku and Abraham Tusubira secured goals for Maroons, taking advantage of Busoga United’s weakened lineup after Charles Sunday Mulanda and Sajjabi were sent off.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Shaban’s brace and a goal each for Katenga Openga and Ashraf Mugume led KCCA FC to victory.
With both teams now at 38 points, just six behind league leaders Kitara FC, the title race tightens.
