Entebbe Club Hosts Thrilling MTN Monthly Golf Tee Tournament

This past weekend, Entebbe Golf Club welcomed golfers for the highly anticipated MTN monthly golf tee tournament. This monthly event has become a staple in the Ugandan golfing community.

The tournament boasted an impressive turnout, with approximately 100 golfers converging on the course with action played in medal format.

Sean Kinsella was the days winner, clinching the overall victory with a remarkable 64 nett. In the fiercely contested Group A men’s division, Paul Habyarimana had a stellar performance, securing victory with 65 nett, three strokes ahead of Michael Tumusiime.

In Group B men, David Batanda claimed top spot with an impressive 67 nett, edging out Charles Odere by two strokes. Ronald Gayiya reigned supreme in Group C men, clinching victory with a commendable 68 nett, just one shot ahead of Emmanuel Mugabi.

In the ladies category, Rita Akot Apell emerged victorious in Group A ladies with 72 nett. Jovia Tugume put up a spirited performance, securing the runner-up position with 74 nett on count-back.

In Group B ladies, Peace Hellen claimied victory with 72 nett, while Nice Janda secured the second position with 73 nett on count-back.

The seniors’ category saw John Muchiri emerge victorious with 72 nett. Additionally, Andrew Baguma captured the special prize for shooting nearest to the pin on the challenging par 3 hole 13.
