The Central Uganda Rugby League is set for its final games this weekend with log leaders Victoria Sharks set to face second-placed Kyambogo in the playoffs battle.
The two sides are level on 30 points but separated by points difference going into Saturday’s decider at Kyadondo as the John Tabu-led Kyambogo look to avenge their 21-9 first-round loss at the hands of the Sharks.
Having endured a turbulent campaign with managerial and player changes, Kyambogo face an unbeaten Sharks side that boasts of an experienced roster of players.
The winner of this tie will join northern region champions Gulu City Falcons, the East’s Elgon Wolves and the winner between Kigezi Silverbacks and Budu Bears in the Western region league in a four-team promotion playoff starting 11th May.
Bottom-placed Kisubi Pacers welcome Mukono Hawks in Kisubi at 4 pm in the other fixture as the league reaches its climax.
