Uganda Cranes’ head coach, Paul Put, is set to unveil the squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Botswana and Algeria. The announcement is scheduled for Friday, May 24th.
Preparations for the crucial games will kick off on May 27th, with the local-based players starting training. The foreign-based players are set to join the camp later, on May 31st.
The qualifiers will take place at Namboole Stadium, with both matches scheduled for a 7pm kick-off.
Uganda currently occupies the fourth position in Group G after playing two games, having secured a victory in one of those matches.
Algeria currently leads the group, having won all their games thus far. Botswana, like Uganda, also has three points.
Uganda will face Botswana on June 7th, followed by a match against Algeria on June 10th.
