URA Football Club head coach Alex Isabirye has called on his players to remain focused and disciplined during the off-season.
The Tax Collectors ended their 2023/24 season with a win over Kitara thanks to a brace from Ivan Ahimbisibwe and a goal from Joseph Ssemujju at the grand reopening of Nakivubo Stadium.
“Ending the season with a win is a great beginning for me, but we must not lose sight of our long-term goals. The off-season is a critical period for reflection and preparation,” Isabirye stated.
Isabirye expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance in the game against Kitara and emphasized the need to maintain momentum.
“The team played exceptionally well. However, we need to use this time wisely to improve and prepare for the challenges of the 2024/25 season,” he added.
With the team officially breaking off until the next season, Isabirye plans to focus on strategic planning and intensive training to ensure the team returns stronger.
