The third period saw Uganda dominating even further with 31 points to Rwanda’s 7, putting the game beyond reach. Rwanda managed to score 20 points in the final period, but Uganda’s steady performance ensured their victory.
Uganda demonstrated superior shooting accuracy, with a 42% field goal percentage compared to Rwanda’s 23%. They also excelled in 2-point and 3-point shots. Despite Rwanda’s higher free-throw percentage, Uganda’s overall consistency and fewer turnovers played a crucial role in their win.
