David Ndihabwe Returns to Kitara on One-Year Deal

Kitara have announced the signing of David Ndihabwe on a contract that extends until June 2025.

The midfielder, who previously captained Maroons, brings valuable experience and leadership to Kitara as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Ndihabwe’s return to Kitara marks his second stint with the club, having played for the Royals during the 2018/19 season. Over the past two seasons at Maroons, he was a key player, contributing one goal and four assists.

Upon signing, Ndihabwe shared his excitement with the club media, stating, “I feel happy that I am going to be playing football for Kitara again. As a player, it’s a step further because I am joining a winning team and going to play on the continent. I hope to give my best and help my team achieve its goals in the forthcoming season.”

Kitara’s head coach, Brian Ssenyondo, has made Ndihabwe his second signing of the season, following the acquisition of Ronald Otti. Ndihabwe is expected to play a crucial role in bolstering the team’s midfield.

Throughout his career, Ndihabwe has showcased his talents at various clubs, including the now-defunct Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU), Express, Bugesera in Rwanda, Arua Hill, and Maroons.
