Defender Najib Fesali has officially parted ways with URA following the expiration of his contract. Fesali’s departure ends a notable five-year stint with the club, which he joined in 2019 from Kyagwe Ssaza.
Throughout his time at URA, Fesali made significant contributions to the team’s defence. He played 52 matches, amassing 4,034 minutes on the pitch.
During these matches, he scored four goals, provided one assist, and was named man of the match on four occasions. His defensive prowess was crucial in helping the team secure 26 clean sheets.
Fesali’s exit marks him as the third player to leave URA FC this summer, following the departures of Vianey Ssekajugo and Eric Ssenjobe.
The club expressed their gratitude for Fesali’s dedication and efforts during his tenure and wished him the best in his future endeavours.
Fesali is expected to join BUL to replace Ronaldo Otti who joined Kitara on a free transfer.
