Police, Mbale Heroes, and Lugazi earned promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League after successful campaigns in the FUFA Big League last season.

Meanwhile, Busoga United, Gaddafi, and Arua Hill were relegated to the FUFA Big League and will aim to secure promotion back to the top tier.

SC Villa, the reigning champions, will look to defend their title as they prepare to face strong competition in the upcoming season.
