Abwooli Mwajuma Wins Junior 52kg Bout, Fulfills Promise to Teachers

Week four of the Uganda Boxing Champions League at Club Obligato featured a series of captivating bouts, culminating in the highly anticipated main event between Amoko Innocent and Adinan Yasin.

Amoko secured a decisive victory with a unanimous 5-0 decision over Adinan.

In an inspiring performance, Abwooli Mwajuma, a senior two student at Bombo Army School and a boxer for UPDF Boxing Club, delighted her fans and head teacher by winning unanimously (5-0) against Namitala Daphine of KCCA Boxing Club in the Junior 52kg category.

Abwooli, who had sold tickets to her teachers, kept her promise to defeat Daphine after a confident face-off on Friday.

Other notable bouts included Ankunda Marion’s triumph with a unanimous 5-0 decision against Annet Sanyu of Namuwongo Boxing Club in the Youth 57kg category.

Adriko Jimmy of KCCA Boxing Club secured a victory by RSC in round 3 against Yiga Ashraf of Namungoona Boxing in the Elite 60kg category.

Magumba Reagan of Lukanga Boxing also won unanimously (5-0) against Musana Victor of Zebra Boxing Club. Finally, Wandera Ronald of Police Boxing Club achieved a unanimous 5-0 victory over Kilwana Sadat of Lukanga Boxing in the Elite 80kg category.
