Fixtures and Participating Teams for 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the participating teams and schedule for the final phase of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.

The competition will take place from August 17 to September 4, 2024, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with matches being held at the Addis Ababa Stadium and Abebe Bikila Stadium.

Nine teams will compete for the coveted title, including the reigning champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, who are seeking a record third continental title.

The participating teams are:

– PVP Buyenzi (Burundi)
– FAD (Djibouti)
– CBE FC (Ethiopia)
– Kenya Police Bullets (Kenya)
– Kawempe Muslim (Uganda)
– Sports Department (Rwanda)
– Yei Joint Stars (South Sudan)
– Simba Queens (Tanzania)
– Warriors Queens (Zanzibar)

The teams have been divided into two groups for the final phase. Group A consists of CBE FC, Kenya Police Bullets, Yei Joint Stars, Warriors Queens, and Rayon Sports Women. Group B includes Simba Queens, PVP Buyenzi, Kawempe Muslim Ladies, and FAD Djibouti.

The fixtures for the tournament are as follows:

August 17, 2024, at Addis Ababa Stadium:

– Police Bullets FC vs. Warriors Queens – 13:00
– CBE vs. Rayon Sports Women – 16:00

August 18, 2024, at Abebe Bikila Stadium:

– PVP Buyenzi vs. Kawempe Muslim Ladies – 13:00
– Simba Queens vs. FAD Djibouti – 16:00

August 20, 2024, at Addis Ababa Stadium:

– CBE vs. Warriors Queens – 13:00
– Kenya Police Bullets vs. Yei Joint FC – 16:00

August 21, 2024, at Abebe Bikila Stadium:

– Simba Queens vs. Kawempe Muslim Ladies – 13:00
– PVP Buyenzi vs. FAD Djibouti – 16:00

August 23, 2024:

– CBE vs. Kenya Police Bullets – Addis Ababa Stadium – 15:00
– Yei Joint FC vs. Rayon Sports Women – Abebe Bikila Stadium – 15:00

August 24, 2024:

– Kawempe Muslim Ladies vs. FAD Djibouti – Addis Ababa Stadium – 15:00
– Simba Queens vs. PVP Buyenzi – Abebe Bikila Stadium – 15:00

August 26, 2024:

– Warriors Queens vs. Rayon Sports Women – Addis Ababa Stadium – 15:00
– CBE vs. Yei Joint FC – Abebe Bikila Stadium – 15:00

August 29, 2024:

– Kenya Police Bullets FC vs. Rayon Sports Women – Addis Ababa Stadium – 15:00
– Yei Joint FC vs. Warriors Queens – Abebe Bikila Stadium – 15:00

Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club will represent Uganda in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, competing against top teams from across Africa and playing their first game on August 18.
