Uganda Cranes youngster Ibrahim Juma has returned to KCCA from a loan spell at Spanish outfit Club Deportivo Leganes.
Upon joining Laganes’ B side, there was an option to turn his contract permanent but it has not been triggered.
He returns to the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in perfect time following the exit of marauding left-back Mustafa Kizza who left following the expiry of his contract at the end of June.
It is also reported that another left-back in Herbert Achai is also on his way out of the club.
This leaves the KCCA development side graduate as the perfect replacement for the above duo despite competition threats from new signing Isa Mubiru.
Juma is a strong character at Lugogo especially with the young crop of players coming through the ranks.
He captained KCCA to the Cambiasso Rainbow International Tournament triumph in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 2022.
The 20-year-old was part of the Uganda U20 team the Hippos that reached the All Africa Games final but lost 1-0 to hosts Ghana.
Interestingly, Juma was summoned in the Uganda Cranes Select Team ahead of the FUFA Super 8, a tournament in which KCCA is also involved.
