Ojera joined Arab Contractors in the January 2024 transfer window from Rwanda Premier League side Rayon Sports.

The hosts thought they had taken the lead in 27th minute when Mohamed Salim scored, only for VAR to interject ruling out his goal for offside.

The visitors capitalised thereafter taking the lead at the stroke of halftime through Nigerian John Ebuka’s strike off Ahmed El Armouty in the 42nd minute.

As soon as the game restarted for the second half, Ojera levelled matters for his team with Salim turning provider.

Ojera’s compatriot Joseph Ochaya played fulltime as the Contractors continue to push for relegation survival.

They are living on borrowed time placed 17th on the 18-team log with 25 points after 31 outings.

Ojera and Ochaya will return to action on Sunday, August 4 with a big test against table leaders Al Ahly.
