Bright Stars announced on their official social media channels and website that midfielder Fiat Cleophas and towering goalkeeper Were Derrick Emmanuel have committed their futures to the club by signing new contract extensions.
Fiat Cleophas, who joined the club in August 2021 from Kigezi Homeboys, and Were Derrick Emmanuel, who signed in September 2021 from Kyetume, will continue their journey with Bright Stars.
The club is thrilled about their extensions and looks forward to their ongoing contributions as they aim for greater success in the seasons ahead.
Additionally, Bright Stars welcomed Ibrahim Mugisha as the new goalkeeping coach earlier this month.
Bright Stars finished 9th in the 2023-24 campaign with 36 points from 29 matches.
The club will begin their 2024-25 StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign with an away match against Wakiso Giants on September 15th, 2024.
