Shadia Nabirye opened the goals galore as early as the 11th minute. Ten minutes later, Hadijah Nandago doubled the Valley Warriors’ advantage.

Both Nandago and Nabirye completed their braces apiece in the 34th and 45th minute, respectively for Kawempe to take a comfortable 4-0 lead at the interval.

As if that wasn’t enough they added six more goals in the second half. Nandago netted a second half hat trick in the 51st – penalty, 68th, and 80th minute taking her tally to five goals on the day.

Halima Kampi, Rebecca Nakato, and Mary Kabacurezi also had their names on the scoresheet in the 53rd, 56th, and 85th minute, each.

The comprehensive victory took Ayub Khalifa’s charges top of Group B level on six points with Simba Queens but the former have a slight better goal difference although the latter have a game in hand.

Tanzania giants Simba will take on PVP Buyenzi from Burundi later on in the day before the semifinal match ups are determined.
